J.and J. Putka “Spread Your Wings” Fund
The Fund was established in 2011 by Putka family with an aim to help young people from low-income families who without scholarship support would not decide to study at institutions of higher learning. The Fund is supported by individual donations and 1% personal income tax designations from members and friends of the Putka family.
The Fund offers one time grants to secondary school graduates to cover the costs associated with the process of enrolment at the university; scholarships for first year of bachelor’s or master’s studies at Polish state institutions of higher learning in the amount of PLN 800 monthly and scholarships for continuation of studies in the 2nd and 3rd year.
Since 2011 the Jury of the Fund awarded scholarships in the amount of PLN 1, 558,739.92.
