We host discussions and interdisciplinary meetings dedicated to reflecting on contemporary challenges facing Poland, Europe, and the world, and we present new trends, phenomena, and ideas. We strive to deepen the discussions taking place in the Polish public sphere and to introduce new themes and topics into the public debate.
We invite people from diverse backgrounds –with different sensibilities, views, political affiliations, and ideological convictions – to participate in our meetings, in the belief that an independent space for meetings and the exchange of thoughts and ideas among representatives of the worlds of politics, academia, social activists, intellectuals, and media professionals is an essential prerequisite for a healthy, strong democracy.
We organize conferences, meetings, and seminars on issues and problems addressed by the Foundation’s programs and expert groups.
Since 2022, we have been awarding the Marcin Król Prize for the best Polish book in the fields of the history of ideas and future studies, philosophy, and social and political thought, as well as reflections on civilization and culture, which introduces new ideas, concepts, or ways of thinking.
