Program Współpracy Międzynarodowej

In the opinion of many experts from both sides, Russian and European Union relations are currently in a state of crisis. Vladimir Putin's Russia is not interested in integrating with the European Union. Exploiting the demand for energy resources, it is trying to rebuild its former importance and play the role of an independent center of gravity in international relations. EU-Russian relations are of extreme significance to Poland. Not only because Poland shares a border and - an often thorny - history with Russia, but also because of our dependence on Russian energy resources. In addition to the efforts of politicians, it is necessary to dialogue between Russian and Polish society with the participation of civil society institutions is necessary in resolving the existing problems.

The goal of the project launched in 2007 is to inspire a debate in Poland on changes coalescing in Russia and their impact on Russian foreign policy. We invite experts from Poland, Russia as well as other countries to discuss Russian-EU and Russian-Polish relations. We discuss the problem of using energy resources as an instrument of Russian international politics. We actively participate in European debate on Russia, representing the Central European NGO point of view.

Within the project we organize seminars, conferences, public discussions. We publish reports, analyses and commentaries devoted to the most important issues in Russian-EU relations and Russia's internal situation.
