The Fund, established at the Batory Foundation by friends and family of a tragically deceased lawyer - Iwona Winiarska-Feleszko is aimed to help talented secondary schools graduates from low-income families and living outside big cities to continue their education at the Law and Administration or other liberal arts faculty at the University of Warsaw. Each year, the Jury of the Fund selects candidates from among nominees recommended by organisations participating in Equal Opportunities-Local Scholarship Funds program. The candidates are offered educational support at the time of their graduation to prepare for the studies and a one year scholarship grant in the amount of 380 PLN per month once they enrol at the University.
