The aim of this program is to strengthen the role of non-governmental organizations in civic dialogue at national and European level, support Polish non-governmental organizations involved in the development of democracy and civil society, promotion of rule of law and international cooperation, and increase the involvement of citizens in public life. In the framework of the program we offer support to civic organizations in the following grant-making schemes:
- Civic dialogue – core support grants for coalitions of non-governmental organizations from Visegrad countries that undertake efforts to enhance the role of civil society in public life, build civic dialogue and influence public policy.
- Institutional grants – core support grants for long-term program activity, capacity building and institutional development of Polish non-governmental organizations involved in the development of democracy and civil society, promotion of rule of law and international cooperation. Grants are aimed to help organizations build stable fundaments for their operation, prepare and implement perspective plans for institutional and financial development, raise the standards of management and operation.
- Active citizens – grants for initiatives undertaken by Polish non-governmental organizations aimed to engage citizens and civic institutions in public affairs and promote the attitudes of civic responsibility for the quality of Polish democracy.
