Grantmaking programs

Democracy in Action – supports projects that enhance civic participation in public sphere and promote the attitude of civic responsibility for the quality of Polish democracy.

Civic Coalitions – supports coalitions of non-governmental organizations from Visegrad countries that undertake efforts to enhance the role of civil society in public life, build civic dialogue and influence public policy.

Equal Opportunities - supports organizations that work to provide equal access to education for school children and youth from small towns and low income families as well as those that strive to counteract the social exclusion of disabled children.

East East: Partnership Beyond Borders - supports international projects implemented in countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Operational programs

Debates and Conferences - organizes discussions and public debates on important social and political problems related both to domestic issues and international affairs.

Your Vote, Your Choice - undertakes activities aimed to increase civic participation in public life.

Anti-Corruption Program campaigns for greater transparency in public life and takes initiatives to increase public sensitivity to various forms and aspects of corruption.

Open Europe - promotes the idea and advocates for Polish and EU visa policy liberalization towards citizens of Eastern Europe.

Regional Alcohol and Drug Program - runs trainings, workshops and seminars on prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug addiction for specialists from countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Programs completed

Legal Education - supported initiatives that increase citizens’ access to legal assistance and justice

Community Initiatives Partnership - supported trilateral cooperation projects implemented by NGOs from Poland and Germany and from Ukraine, Belarus and the Kaliningrad District.

Memoria - supported initiatives aimed to mobilize volunteers from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Russia and Germany to work together to preserve common cultural heritage in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

Citizens in Action - supported non-governmental organizations in Belarus and Ukraine engaged in building and developing civil society in those countries.
