East East Beyond Borders

Program is a part of network East East Beyond Borders Program coordinated and financed by the Open Society Foundations.

The aim of the program is to support international exchange of experience, expertise, and knowledge, and contribute to spreading the values of an open society.

The program was created in 1991 to support cooperation between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. At the beginning, it focused mainly on enabling people from our region to establish contacts and exchange experiences concerning the various transformations occurring in the post-communist space. Later, specialized projects emerged aimed at solving concrete problems where knowledge and experience gained in one country became an inspiration for introducing changes in another. At present, we encourage innovative initiatives, which contribute to joint development of good models of social action and to solving problems on a regional scale.
 
Application guidelines:
  • Partnerships – grants for Polish organizations for projects focused on international cooperation.
  • Travel grants - for individuals from Poland invited to participate in projects being carried out in other countries of the region.
